Happy Feet Podiatry LLC seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our mobile podiatry team across Missouri. You will deliver comprehensive foot and lower extremity care in assisted living communities, skilled nursing facilities, and private residences, practicing independently yet collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide mobile podiatric services in community-based care settings
• Perform foot and lower extremity assessments
• Deliver routine foot care and preventive services
• Monitor high-risk patients and identify potential complications
• Assist with wound care management and follow-up
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and partners
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and billing information
• Support continuity of care through ongoing patient monitoring
• Build relationships with facility leadership and referral partners

Position Overview

Happy Feet Podiatry is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing mobile podiatry team in Missouri. This unique opportunity allows providers to deliver comprehensive foot and lower extremity care directly to patients in assisted living communities, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, and private residences.

This role is ideal for clinicians who enjoy working independently, building strong patient relationships, and collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams. Successful candidates will be comfortable exercising sound clinical judgment in a mobile care environment while communicating professionally with facility administrators, nursing staff, caregivers, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.

As a member of our clinical team, you will play an important role in improving access to care, preventing complications, preserving mobility, and enhancing quality of life for patients who may otherwise face barriers to receiving podiatric services.

What You\'ll Do

• Provide mobile podiatric services in community-based care settings

• Educate patients, families, caregivers, and facility staff
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, caregivers, and community partners
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Support continuity of care through ongoing patient monitoring and follow-up
• Build and maintain professional working relationships with facility leadership, nursing teams, caregivers, and referral partners
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams to support coordinated patient care and positive clinical outcomes
• Complete clinical documentation, orders, and billing information accurately and within established timeframes
• Maintain timely chart completion to support continuity of care, regulatory compliance, and revenue cycle processes

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Missouri
• Active DEA registration (if applicable)
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within assigned service areas
• Comfortable practicing independently in a mobile care environment, exercising sound clinical judgement and decision-making while collaborating remotely with supervision and consulting providers when needed
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to complete documentation, orders, and billing accurately and on time
• Professional communication skills and the ability to confidently interact with facility administrators, nursing staff, caregivers, patients, and referral partners
• Ability to build collaborative relationships and function effectively as part of an interdisciplinary care team

Preferred

• Experience in podiatry, wound care, geriatrics, primary care, home health, or long-term care
• Experience working with older adult or home bound populations
• Mobile healthcare or community-based care experience
