Novant Health Urgent Care Beaufort is seeking a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner to join our growing urgent care team. The provider will work with a supportive group of professionals to serve patients age six months and up in a fast-paced environment.

Required qualifications include a Master's degree (PA or NP with Family NP specialty), active SC licensure, DEA, SC CSA, and DOT certification, plus 2+ years in urgent care or family practice.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in NP with Family NP specialty or PA.
• Active SC licensure for practice in South Carolina.
• Active DEA registration and SC Controlled Substances license.
• DOT Certification is required.
• 2+ years of urgent care or family practice experience.
• Willing to work 12-hour shifts and weekends.
• Willing to work at multiple centers as needed.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care to patients aged 6 months and older.
• Collaborate with patient services, nurses, medical assistants, and X-ray techs.
• Maintain licensure, certifications and clinical competencies.
• Deliver compassionate, quality care aligned with Novant Health standards.

What Are We Looking For?

Novant Health Urgent Care is currently looking for a Physician Assistant or a Family Nurse Practitioner to join our growing urgent care family. The provider works with the support of our teams of patient services representatives, nurses, medical assistants, and x-ray techs to serve our diverse populations ages 6 months and above.

Do You Have What It Takes?

A good candidate will bring with them:

• APP: Master's degree in either Nurse Practitioner (with Family Nurse Practitioner specialty), or Physician Assistant
• Active SC licensure
• Active DEA and SC Controlled Substance
• DOT Certification
• 2 or more years of experience working in either family practice or urgent care setting
• Willing to work12 hourshifts and weekends
• Willing to work at other centers as needed
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to reflect our mission, vision, and values through actions and conduct.

• 5 or more years of urgent care experience as a FNP or PA
