Henry Ford Health seeks an experienced Endocrinology healthcare professional to deliver expert care in diabetes, thyroid disorders, and metabolic conditions. The role involves building strong patient relationships, developing personalized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care.

You will see outpatient clinic patients Monday through Friday, with occasional inpatient weekend coverage to support hospital endocrinology services.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan licensure as NP or PA.
• Minimum 2+ years of clinical experience in primary care, internal medicine, or hospitalist medicine.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to manage complex patient populations.

• Go the Extra Mile - Occasionally cover inpatient weekend shifts (typically 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM) to support our hospital's endocrinology services
• Balance Your Caseload - Manage a diverse patient population with 90% adult and 10% pediatric cases, keeping your clinical skills sharp across age groups
• Document with Precision - Maintain accurate, thorough medical records and documentation that reflects the quality care you're providing

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Active Michigan Licensure as Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• Minimum 2+ years of clinical experience in one of the following: primary care, internal medicine, or hospitalist medicine
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Ability to manage complex patient populations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior experience or exposure to endocrinology or metabolic disorders
• Experience managing pediatric patients
• Familiarity with diabetes management and thyroid disorders
• Current knowledge of evidence-based endocrinology guidelines
• Experience in outpatient clinic settings
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
