Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. in Atlanta, GA seeks a compassionate Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our care team. This part-time role (3 days per week) focuses on endocrine disorders, diabetes, and thyroid care for residents in long-term care facilities.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and manage chronic conditions, order tests, prescribe medications, and educate residents and families. A licensure and DEA, plus BLS/CPR, are required.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted NP/PA/MD license.
• DEA license required.
• CPR BCLS/BLS certification.
• Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• Graduation from an accredited NP program.
• Minimum 6 months in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
• Experience with endocrine care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive endocrine care to residents.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat endocrinology conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team.
• Educate residents and families on care plans.
• Manage chronic conditions and adjust care as needed.

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license
• DEA License
• CPR BCLS/BLS certified
• Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing
• Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• A year of experience in Endocrinology
• Preferred experience in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc
