Doist is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for an outpatient primary care role in Florida. The position features standard hours 8am-5pm, M-F, with a geriatric patient population focus. The ideal candidate has primary care experience and Florida licensure.

Compensation ranges from $90,000 to $120,000 plus full benefits, relocation assistance, sign-on bonus, and malpractice coverage. Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred to serve diverse patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Preferably 3 years of experience in a primary care setting.
• Florida license requirements.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• Managed Care, Medicare Advantage & HEDIS coding experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in assigned area through assessment, evaluation, diagnosis, planning and implementation.
• Perform as clinician, teacher, leader and professional development contributor.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure safe, effective and efficient care and desired outcomes.
• Monitor quality of care through customer service and performance improvement.
• Provide leadership in the practice location.
• NP/PA must practice in accordance with Florida law.
• Treat less urgent acute conditions and manage chronic care and care coordination.

Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

We are seeking a full-time primary care Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant to work in our practice. The ideal candidate will have clinical primary care experience. This is an 100% outpatient position with office hours from 8am to 5pm, M-F. The incoming candidate should be comfortable caring for a geriatric patient population.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the delivery of patient care in their area of specialty through the process of assessment; evaluation; diagnosing; recognition and prevention of adverse events; planning; and implementation.
• Performs responsibilities in four areas of practice: clinician, teacher, leadership, and professional development.
• Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure safe; effective and efficient patient care delivery; and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
• Continuously monitors quality patient care through excellence in customer service and performance improvement that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.
• Provides leadership in the practice location.
• Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA) are required to function consistent with Florida Law.
• Provides treatment for less urgent acute conditions as well as manages chronic conditions and provides care coordination.

Requirements
