Catalyst Physician Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide high-quality direct patient care and support clinical operations across our North Texas communities.

Expect to see 15–25 patients per day with on-site support teams and a patient-centered care approach. We value collaborative teams, professional growth, and a commitment to improving community health.

Qualifications

• Current Texas license and certification.
• Graduate of an accredited NP/PA program.
• Experience as an NP or PA in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Competent with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Ability to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, coordination, and evaluation of patient care delivery.
• Patient assessment and history and physical.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
• Deliver annual exams and educate patients on prevention and healthy lifestyles.
• Document encounters in the EMR.

JOB SUMMARY

As a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) at Catalyst Physician Group, you'll be a vital part of our team, helping our communities thrive by providing direct patient care and supporting clinical operations. You will see approx. 15-25 patients per day and have in office support as well as Catalyst support teams including 24/7 care team support, referral coordinators and more. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Functions independently to perform a broad range of medical services including, but not limited to the following:

• Providing direction, coordination, and evaluation of patient care delivery
• Patient assessment
• Age appropriate history and physical
• Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays relative to a patients specific needs
• Annual exams
• Educating patients on disease prevention and positive health and lifestyle choices
• Documenting encounters in the Athena EMR

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Current Texas license and certification
• Graduate of an accredited NP/PA program
• Experience as an NP or PA in an outpatient clinic setting
• Competent with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Ability to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• 1-3 years related experience preferably in an Internal Medicine or Primary Care outpatient setting
• Athena EMR experience
