Job summary

BAS Healthcare, Inc. seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the hospitalist team in Nags Head, NC for a nocturnist role from 7pm to 7am. You will manage admissions, inpatient care, and discharge planning in a busy 21-bed facility.

Candidates must have ACNP/AGACNP or PA inpatient experience, ACLS/BLS, and at least three years in hospital settings. This full-time position includes benefits and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Nocturnist schedule: 7 on/7 off, 7pm–7am.
• Minimum 3 years inpatient experience as NP or PA.

Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant - Hospitalist

Job Details:

• Nocturnist Hospitalist opportunity for an ACNP or AGACNP trained Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Join an established hospitalist team inclusive of 2 physicians and 5 Advanced Practice Providers
• Schedule: 7 on/7 off, 7pm - 7am
• Clinical responsibilities include admissions, inpatient care, and preparing patients for discharge
• Census maximum of 22 patients with an average of 17; no rounding required for night provider
• Admissions range from 4-6 per shift
• No routine procedure responsibilities
• Dedicated office space and laptop provided to support workflow
• EPIC EMR utilized
• ACLS and BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Minimum of 3 years of inpatient experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required
