Job summary

West Coast Wound is seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to deliver mobile advanced wound care in patients’ homes and SNFs around Las Vegas, NV. You will travel locally within your designated region to provide wound care and education.

Full-time or part-time positions are available; extensive training, 24/7 support, and competitive compensation are provided. Must have NV NP or PA license and CPR certification; driving is required.

Qualifications

• Current state license as NP or PA in NV.
• CPR certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license with insurance; local travel required.

Responsibilities

• Select, order, and perform tests and procedures to treat patients.
• Perform wound care procedures as part of the plan of care.
• Define and document patient diagnoses.
• Ensure patient satisfaction with care provided.
• Educate patients and manage ongoing treatment.
• Debride wounds by various methods during visits.
• Apply topical wound care and other wound products.
• Notate findings and treatment course in patient chart with follow-ups.

West Coast Wound & Skin Care is a full-service mobile wound care company that delivers quality services/treatments to patients in the comfort of their own home. We are a fast-growing organization and our mission is to provide high-quality care, treating the whole patient's health, not just the wound. We have high and excellent standards for communication with the agencies we work with, are available and responsive to meet the treatment needs of our patients, and prioritize training/continuing education to our medical team.

We are seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to perform mobile advanced wound care services for our patients. You will travel locally within your designated region to see our patients in their homes or SNFs.

This position is looking for candidates living in Las Vegas, NV and be willing to drive to see patients in this area in their homes. The territory for this role will service patients in throughout Vegas area.

Must be licensed as an NP or PA in NV.

This is not a remote position. Must be willing and able to drive to patient homes to provide wound care.

No experience is needed. We provide extensive training, 24/7 support, offer competitive compensation.

Responsibilities:

• Select, order, and perform tests and procedures to best treat the patient
• Perform wound care procedures as deemed necessary and appropriate for plan of care
• Define and document patient diagnoses
• Assure all patients are completely satisfied
• Patient education and management
• Debridement of wounds by various methods completed safely during the patient visit
• Application of topical wound care and other wound management products
• Notate findings and treatment course in patient chart, including follow-up notes

Qualifications:

• Current state license as an NP or PA
• CPR Certified
• Effective communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Must have a valid driver’s license and minimum state required liability auto insurance; local travel is required
