Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Indianapolis is hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full-time 9a–5p shift in our Detox and Residential treatment facility. You will lead medical care, monitor treatment, and coordinate with addiction medicine teams.

Join a comprehensive program with MAT options, state licensure in Indiana, and DEA certification required. Collaborative, patient-centered care is our priority with a mission to support recovery.

Qualifications

• MSN or MPAS required.
• Indiana NP/PA license required.
• Federal DEA certification required.
• Advanced practice nursing skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in addiction medicine or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Create individual medical care treatment plans and provide medical monitoring/ medication management for each client throughout treatment.
• Provide quality medical care to stabilize patients and enable them to fully engage in treatment.
• Update pharmacy orders, create UDS, med and lab orders, and review and address UDS and lab results.
• Collaborate with extended medical, clinical, and UR teams for seamless coordination of care.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all medical interventions, consultations, and directives.
• Complete daily and weekly client appointment schedule in timely and efficient manner.

What We're Looking For

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or MPAS
• State licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physicians' Assistant in Indiana
• Federal DEA certification
• Advanced practice nursing skills including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience in addiction medicine or related field required
