Position Summary:

Plans, evaluates, and implements high-quality medical care with appropriate resource management for patients, both adults and children, in cooperation with center physicians.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Adheres to the service and courtesy standards of WellStreet Urgent Care by delivering the highest standard of patient satisfaction at all times.
2. Provides patient care within the respective clinical area, complying with the Professional Staff Bylaws, rules, regulations, and WellStreet Urgent Care policies and procedures.
3. Provides and/or serves as a resource for patient/family and staff education.
4. Provides an authenticated report of all services rendered and maintains accurate and complete records.
5. Completes necessary documentation and ensures communication to facilitate patient care and reimbursement.
6. Participates in meetings and activities to support operations of the urgent care center.
7. Engages in professional development, maintains certification in BLS or ACLS (ATLS, PALS, or NALS optional), and maintains any additional required certifications.
8. Performs other responsibilities as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Advanced degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
2. Licensed Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in Georgia.
3. Preferred: 2 years of experience in urgent care or emergency medicine.
4. Current DEA registration preferred.
5. Meets eligibility for credentialing with WellStreet Urgent Care.
6. BLS certification required.
7. Effective communication skills with patients, families, and staff.

Experience Required: 1 year in ER or Urgent Care.
