Aria Community Health Center in California provides comprehensive medical and dental care across counties. We seek a qualified clinician to diagnose illnesses, develop treatment plans, and coordinate with specialists.

You will examine patients, interpret tests, record data, administer or order diagnostics, prescribe therapies, perform procedures, and educate patients on health maintenance. Candidates must be licensed in CA and able to work with diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited educational program and be licensed in California.
• Ability to serve a wide range of consumers from diverse populations.
• Knowledge of crisis assessment and intervention; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients to obtain information about their physical condition.
• Interpret diagnostic test results for deviations from normal.
• Obtain, record, and maintain patient medical data and health history.
• Administer or order diagnostic tests (x-ray, ECG, lab).</br>Prescribe therapy or medications and perform therapeutic procedures.
• Instruct and counsel patients about prescribed regimens and health maintenance.
• Assist physicians during surgery or complex procedures.
• Other duties as required.

ACHC is a Federally Qualified Health Center and licensed primary care clinic. We provide medical and dental care, with additional specialists in Chiropractic, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Pediatrics, Psychology, Podiatry and Optometry. ACHC Clinics are located across Fresno, Kings and Tulare counties.Provide healthcare services, diagnose illnesses, develop and manage treatment plans, prescribe medications, and serve as a principal healthcare provider.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESExamine patients to obtain information about their physical condition:Interpret diagnostic test results for deviations from normal.Make tentative diagnoses and decisions about management and treatment of patients.Obtain, compile and record patient medical data, including health history, progress notes and results of physical examination.Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests.Prescribe therapy or medication.Perform therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and infection management.Instruct and counsel patients about prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance.Provide physicians with assistance during surgery or complicated medical procedures.And other activities as required.EDUCATIONMust graduate from an accredited educational program and be licensed in the state of California.ABILITIES, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLSAbility to serve a wide range of consumers, including culturally diverse populations.
