Job summary

Atria Health Institute is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to provide personal, preventive care for pediatric members in our cutting-edge facility and in-home settings. The role collaborates with CMOs to conduct comprehensive health assessments and well visits, while offering telehealth support and on-call home care as needed.

Ideal candidates hold a Florida NP license with 2+ years of pediatric NP experience, including vaccination, phlebotomy, IV/IM medications, and point-of-care testing.

Qualifications

• Current FL NP license required.
• 2+ years' experience as NP with pediatric focus.
• Proficient in vaccination, phlebotomy, IV/IM meds and self-care testing.
• Able to provide care in Institute and patient homes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pediatric primary and preventive care in state-of-the-art facility and at patient homes.
• Collaborate with CMOs to perform well visits and comprehensive assessments.
• Provide telehealth visits and electronic prescribing as needed.
• Perform home care visits and support urgent home-based care coverage.
• Maintain medical records and ensure licensure and certifications are up to date.

As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Atria, you will be providing personalized, exceptional health care to our pediatric members. Your essential job duties will include the following:

• Partner with Atria physicians to provide exceptional care in a state-of-the-art facility, as well as providing care to our members in the comfort of their homes
• Works collaboratively with CMOs (Chief Medical Officers) to provide Preventive Care, Well Visits & Comprehensive Health Assessments in the Institute, also with direct and indirect supervision for urgent Home Care visits
• Flexibility to work weekends and off hours for on-call coverage for home care visits and Institute coverage, as necessary
• Pediatric NPs must have the ability to provide comprehensive Primary Care to the pediatric population and provide occasional cross-coverage of adult patients
• Adaptability to gain training and demonstrate competencies in a variety of Point of Care Testing modalities and devices
• Flexibility to perform clinical, administrative, and clerical tasks outside routine scope of practice.
• Providing Home Care Services for minor procedures, such as insertion of peripheral IV for medication administration, wound care, vaccinations, and phlebotomy techniques
• Documentation and appropriate maintenance of Medical Records for members
• Telehealth visits & Electronic prescribing of medications as needed
• Maintains a high-quality workforce to assist in the achievement of the Organization's Mission
• Maintenance & upkeep of Professional Licenses, Certifications, DEA certification, State requirements and National Certifying Agencies credentials

Requirements

• Current FL NP license required
• 2+ years' working experience as NP
• Capable and experienced with relevant procedures including but not limited to vaccination, phlebotomy, catheterization, intravenous line placement, medication administration by IV, IM and nebulizer
• Adaptability to gain training and demonstrate competencies in a variety of point of care testing modalities and devices
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
