Job summary

The Atria Health Institute in Beverly Hills is seeking a compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team. You will provide care at the state-of-the-art institute and visit members in their homes, delivering preventive care, well visits, and personalized health assessments.

Requirements include California NP license in Pediatrics or Family, NBPC NP, BLS, and 2+ years of pediatric NP experience.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, flexible Pediatric NP with excellent communication skills in person, by phone and electronically.
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment including administrative support, pharmacy, nutrition, coaching, and other providers.
• Fluency with primary care guidelines and a love of learning.
• Must be willing to travel to member homes as needed for visits.

Responsibilities

• Provide care at a state-of-the-art facility and during home visits.
• Deliver Preventive Care, Well Visits & Personalized Health Assessments, and independent urgent follow-ups.
• Perform minor procedures such as vaccinations and phlebotomy.
• Correspond with families in writing via secure message and email in collaboration with care coordination.
• Adhere to ethical standards, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements for nursing practice.
• Provide occasional nursing tasks for adult patients (e.g., flu vaccination for a parent).

All care, including primary care, advanced screening and diagnostics, urgent care, specialty care, home visits, and imaging is included in members' annual fee.

As a nurse practitioner in pediatrics at Atria, you will:

• Partner with Atria pediatricians to provide exceptional care in a state of the art facility, as well as providing care to our members in the comfort of their homes during home visits.
• Work collaboratively with Pediatricians to provide Preventive Care, Well Visits & Personalized Health Assessments and independently with direct and indirect supervision for urgent visits and focused follow ups at the Institute or in the home.
• Perform minor procedures such as insertion of a peripheral IV, phlebotomy, wound care and vaccinations.
• Correspond with families in writing via secure message and email and in collaboration with care coordination team.
• Adhere to ethical principles and professional standards of practice, maintaining confidentiality, integrity, and respect for patients' rights and dignity. Will comply with legal and regulatory requirements governing nursing practice, licensure, and scope of practice.
• Provide occasional nursing tasks for adult patients, for example doing a flu vaccination for the parent of a child.

Compensation:

$160,000 - $180,000

• Current California License with nurse practitioner credential in Pediatrics or Family
• 2+ years Pediatric experience as NPrequired
• National Board Certification as NP (Pediatrics or Family)
• BLS certification from American Heart Association
• Capable and experienced with relevant procedures including but not limited to vaccination, phlebotomy, catheterization, intravenous line placement, medication administration by IV, IM and nebulizer
• Adaptability to gain training and demonstrate competencies in a variety of point of care testing modalities and devices
• Must possess reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel to and from member home visits within the assigned service area
