Job Description

2. The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Nurse Practitioner Primary Care Provider (PCP) is responsible for providing direct clinical customer-owner care in assigned area, managing care for a panel of customer-owners, and collaborating with other clinical staff to establish medical protocols and treatment regimens.
3. This is a remote position located in McGrath, Alaska, at the McGrath Regional Health Center.

Minimum Qualifications

• Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Alaska
• Current certification by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
• Meets all requirements for associate medical staff membership and privileges
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, ATLS, ALSO, and PALS may be required based on specialty and scope of practice

Employee Health Requirements

Compliance with SCF's Employee Health Procedure is mandatory, including all screening and immunizations such as MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza, T-dap, and COVID-19 prior to employment.

Licenses & Certifications

• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Nurse Practitioner certification
