Qualifications
- Current NP certification and license required
- RN license in state of practice required
- Specialty certification as per client request/state regulations if applicable
- One year experience as an NP preferred
- Maintain collaboration agreements per state requirements
- Complies with relevant professional standards of practice
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current health certificate per contract or state regulation
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Responsibilities
- Provide medical care services to patients of all ages within scope of license
- Collaborate with physician and multidisciplinary team to collect and document patient data
- Perform physical examinations, diagnostic and therapeutic tests and procedures
- Assess and screen patients, prescribe medications and treatments
- Order and schedule laboratory and diagnostic studies for evidence-based care
- Provide comprehensive services including direct patient care; may have an area of specialty
