• Must hold a valid Nurse Practitioner License.
• At least 2 years of experience in Addiction Medicine and family practice.

• Conduct history and physicals, review labs, and monitor blood levels.

• Support the adult residential program and detox as needed.

Shift

16 hours and on call - Every other weekend

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Include doing history and physicals, reviewing labs, monitoring blood levels, sick call and preparing discharges (physician orders, scripts if has prescriptive authority).
• Provides support and resources to the adult residential program and detox as needed.
• Coordination (with the help of the nursing staff) with the primary care physician and psychiatrist when appropriate.
• Working with the nursing staff to make sure the medications are cost effective for the client after discharge and completing prior authorization requests for medications.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Education, Experience

• Nurse Practitioner License to practice general/family medicine
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Addiction Medicine and family practice medicine license.
