Chesapeake Regional Healthcare in Chesapeake, Virginia, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant responsible for providing quality care to patients under physician supervision. This role requires effective communication and flexible scheduling to meet patient needs.

The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant is responsible for providing quality care to patients while under the supervision of a licensed physician.
These duties and responsibilities described below represent the general tasks performed on a daily basis; other tasks may be assigned.
Minimum Required Education: Graduation from an accredited Physician's Assisting program with successful completion of the National Certifying Examination administered by the National Commission of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with successful completion of the National Certifying Examination.
Preferred Education: Not applicable
Experience: 2+ years as a Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner, is preferred
Applicant must possess a current, unrestricted license to work as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in the Commonwealth of Virginia and/or the State of North Carolina, a current DEA certification without restrictions, and BLS.
