Job summary

Epic Pain Management in Laredo, Texas, seeks a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our physician-led team. Enjoy a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule with dedicated clinical support and opportunities to develop treatment plans that improve function and quality of life for patients with acute pain, injuries, and chronic conditions.

Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner in Texas
• Current DEA license or ability to obtain
• Pain management, orthopedics, urgent care, or primary care experience preferred, but not required
• Strong clinical judgment and patient-management skills
• Confidence working independently with physician collaboration
• Excellent communication and patient-engagement skills
• A collaborative, motivated approach to patient care

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations for acute conditions, injuries, and chronic pain
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
• Perform in-office procedures, including joint and trigger point injections, abscess incision and drainage, suturing, and splinting
• Interpret diagnostic tests and adjust care plans accordingly
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure high-quality, efficient care
• Stay current with best practices in urgent care and pain management
