Job summary

Sheridan Memorial Hospital is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide medical consultation, follow-ups, and routine patient care in an office setting. The role requires diagnosing and managing common acute and stable chronic diseases, ordering tests, and collaborating with a supervising physician.

The NP/PA will document findings in the medical record, participate in CQI activities, and support clinic administration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program or an accredited graduate-level Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current national certification as a Physician Assistant through NCCPA.
• Current Wyoming licensure or eligibility to practice as a PA or APRN.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred; Central Registry required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat patients in the office setting and manage common acute and stable chronic diseases.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and therapies as part of the care plan.
• Collaborate with the supervising physician and health care professionals to plan patient care.
• Provide clinic administrative support and participate in performance improvement activities.
