Job summary

BrightView LLC in Salisbury is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to deliver medical services in collaboration with a licensed physician. You will implement treatment plans and inform patients about medical components of their care within an integrated care team.

The position focuses on addiction treatment in outpatient services including Medically Assisted Treatment and Clinical Services, requiring state licensure (FNP/APRN/CNP/PMHNP/PA-C), DEA registration, and participation in trainings that meet

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent is required.
• Active state licensure as FNP/APRN/CNP/PMHNP/PA-C is required.
• D.E.A. licensure as required by BrightView.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and conduct professional development activities in medical subjects relevant to patient treatment.
• Participate in trainings required by regulatory agencies and comply with requirements.
• Develop and present training content on medical topics related to substance use disorders and health practices.
• Perform medical services within scope of education, training, and expertise.
• Ensure implementation of medical quality health standards for patients and staff.
• Provide medical input into program philosophy, services, and patient care.
• Respond to emergencies and consult with emergency care providers for program patients.
• Collaborate with physicians, clinics, or hospitals involved in patient care.
• Attend weekly treatment team meetings and external seminars/trainings.
• Maintain understanding of drug/alcohol abuse and treatment information.
• Develop professional relationships with patients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Ensure accreditation standards related to medical, health, and safety issues are met.

Education
