Job summary

BrightView in Salisbury, NC is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide medical services in collaboration with a licensed physician within our outpatient addiction treatment program. You will implement treatment plans, inform patients about medical components of their care, and participate in an integrated care team committed to high-quality comprehensive treatment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent is required.
• Active state licensure: FNP/APRN/CNP/PMHNP/PA-C with current status.
• DEA licensure as required by BrightView.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical services in collaboration with a licensed physician.
• Implement treatment plans in coordination with the supervising physician.
• Inform patients about the medical components of their treatment.
• Mentor and conduct professional development activities in medical subjects.
• Develop and present training content on medical topics related to substance use disorders.
• Perform medical services within scope of education and training.
• Ensure medical quality health standards for patients and employees.
• Provide medical input into program philosophy, treatment services, and patient care.
• Respond to emergency care providers needing consultation for patients.
• Collaborate with other physicians, clinics or hospitals.
• Attend weekly treatment team meetings and trainings.
• Stay updated on drug abuse and treatment information.
• Develop professional relationships with patients and team members.
• Ensure treatment center meets accreditation standards related to medical, health, safety.

Education

Master’s degree or equivalent
