Walk On Clinic Inc in Sarasota, FL is seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing team in a fast-paced, patient-centered primary care setting.

This part-time role offers flexible scheduling (10 to 20 hours weekly) with opportunities for professional growth as our clinic network expands. You will provide comprehensive primary care, perform exams, manage chronic conditions, and educate patients in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Active NP or PA license in Florida.
• Master's degree or higher in Nursing (FNP, AGNP) or Physician Assistant Studies.
• Current DEA registration and ability to prescribe medications.
• Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care preferred.
• BLS/ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Work independently with patients.
• Provide primary care support: physical examinations, vitals, BMI.
• Review personal and family medical histories; order and interpret tests; develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and provide patient education on treatment and follow-up care.
• Perform minor procedures such as wound care, suturing, splinting, and laceration repair.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Document patient encounters and maintain medical records.

Job Type: Part‑time 10 to 20 hours per week. Monday or Wednesday or both.

Responsibilities:

• Work independently with patients
• Provide primary care support to include:
• Physical examinations
• Checking vitals and BMI
• Examine personal and family medical histories
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and provide patient education on treatment and follow‑up care
• Prescriptions, shots, and immunizations
• Perform minor procedures such as wound care, suturing, splinting, and laceration repair
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure high‑quality, efficient patient care
• Accurately document patient encounters and maintain thorough medical records

Requirements:

• Active NP or PA license in the state of Florida
• Master's degree or higher in Nursing (FNP, AGNP) or Physician Assistant Studies
• Current DEA registration and ability to prescribe medications
• Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care preferred
• BLS/ACLS certification required
• Strong clinical decision‑making and diagnostic skills
• Excellent bedside manner with a patient‑first attitude
• Ability to manage and work with small self‑directed teams
