Job summary

Walk On Clinic Inc is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our Sarasota, FL team in a full-time role. You will handle patient intake, assist with exams and procedures, and perform phlebotomy and injections as directed.

We value patient-centered care, strong communication, and multitasking ability. EMR proficiency (Elation or similar) is preferred, with a friendly, team-oriented workplace atmosphere in a growing clinic network.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Medical Assistant certification required.
• 3+ years experience in phlebotomy.
• Experience in primary/urgent care or outpatient setting preferred.
• Familiarity with Elation or similar EMR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake, including medical histories and vital signs.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments.
• Perform blood draws.
• Administer medications and vaccinations per provider orders.
• Triage, obtain vitals, and document accurately in the EMR.
• Educate patients on care plans, medications, and preventive health.

• Collaborate closely with providers, and support staff.
