Job summary

Sanitas is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive outpatient primary health care at our Medical Centers in San Antonio, TX. The APRN will report to the Medical Director and practice within the center's policies, delivering diagnosis, treatment, and care coordination for patients.

Requires an NP license, DEA, BLS/ACLS, and 3+ years in primary care. Spanish/Creole skills are a plus; some travel to multiple locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from accredited nursing program.
• 3+ years in primary care.
• Valid State Nurse Practitioner license.
• Current State DEA Certificate.
• Certification by one of the NP certifying bodies (ANCC or AANP) as a Family NP or Adult Gerontology NP.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• English fluency; Spanish and Creole are preferred.
• Willingness to travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient primary health care services.
• Diagnose and treat patients and coordinate care.
• Prescribe medications per state statutes and guidelines.
• Maintain comprehensive health records per policies.
• Ensure timely follow-up and continuity of care.
• Update protocols and participate in training.
