Job summary

Cynet Health in Buffalo, MN seeks a Nurse Practitioner in Orthopedic Surgery for a 6-8 month assignment. You will be first assist in OR for total joint replacements and fracture repairs, provide clinic care to adolescents and adults, and perform casting, splinting and joint injections.

Night shift from 19:00 to 07:00 with 8-hour shifts; daily clinic load 20-25 patients; EPIC EMR experience required.

Qualifications

• Must be an NP with active MN license and board certification in surgical orthopedics.
• Minimum 1+ year experience; 1+ year OR experience required; prior orthopedic/sports medicine preferred.
• BLS Tier 1 required within 180 days; DEA and CSR certifications necessary.

Responsibilities

• Be the first assist in the operating room for total joint replacements and fracture repairs.
• Provide orthopedic patient care in clinic for adolescents and adults; daily load 20–25 patients.
• Rounding in mornings and occasional weekend coverage; collaborate with clinical support staff.
• Knowledge of EPIC EMR required; maintain proper documentation and care standards.

Description:This position involves supporting the surgical orthopedic team.Responsibilities include being the first assist in the operating room for total joint replacements and fracture repairs.You will provide care for orthopedic patients, primarily adolescents and adults.Daily patient load in the clinic is estimated at 20-25 patients.Work is cooperative, involving clinical support staff during clinic days.You will conduct rounding in the mornings and occasionally cover on weekends.Experience in orthopedic or sports medicine is preferred.Knowledge of EPIC electronic medical records is required.Candidates must possess a Minnesota licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.DEA and CSR certifications are necessary.Candidates must have basic life support certification within 180 days of hire.
