The new University of Iowa Health Care North Liberty Campus will open in the Spring of 2025. This 469,000 square foot facility will be home to UI Health Care’s nationally recognized Orthopedics service line, offering comprehensive, coordinated, and accessible care across the outpatient, inpatient and surgical venues. These state-of-the-art clinical facilities will also include a full-service community imaging center, laboratory services, physical therapy, retail pharmacy, and emergency department as well as an array of support services. The Department of Orthopedics is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for the newly created Orthopedic Injury Walk-in Clinic. The APP in this role will provide medical care to patients in the Orthopedic Injury Walk-in Clinic at the UIHC Medical Center North Liberty (UIHC MCNL).
The hours of operation for the Ortho Injury Walk-In Clinic are Monday-Thursday 7:30am-8pm, Friday 7:30am-5pm, and Saturday 8am-1pm. Schedule will be determined once candidates are selected.
Position Responsibilities:
No call is expected for this role.
Education Requirements:
A Master's degree is required. A Master's degree or DNP in Nursing is preferred. If Master's degree is in a related field, a Baccalaureate degree in nursing is required. Current license to practice nursing in Iowa is required. Current certification in specialty area and licensure as ARNP in state of Iowa is required.
