  6. Educate patients and staff about treatments and safety precautions.
  7. Engage with pharmacists for treatment adjustments.
  8. Assist with research studies, including physical exams and lab reviews.

  11. Participate in clinical trials and coordinate post-therapy care with community oncologists.
  12. Make referrals to specialty care and maintain communication with primary care providers.
  13. Manage prescriptions, document clinical findings, and adhere to protocols.
  14. Obtain training on radiation safety and radiopharmaceutical management.
Education:
  • Educate patients and families about therapies and safety precautions.
  • Teach residents, NPs, or PAs and develop clinical pathways and educational materials.
  • Coordinate onboarding for new APPs and participate in multidisciplinary conferences and educational events.
  • Advocate for APP needs within the department.
Quality and Research:
  • Identify opportunities to improve care quality and efficiency.
  • Implement research findings into practice.
  • Respond to patient feedback and manage clinic resources effectively.
