Job description

Seeking a full-time physician associate or acute care nurse practitioner with cardiology or advanced heart failure experience to join an expanding and well-supported team at the Providence Heart Institute's dedicated Advanced Heart Failure program, caring for patients with complex conditions. Enjoy rewarding work in a care-team model coupled with excellent quality of life in the scenic beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

  • Mix of both inpatient and clinic duties
  • 1:6 weekend call responsibility
  • Busy Cardiogenic Shock, Transplant, and LVAD programs
  • Growing Amyloid and Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy programs
  • Large volume CardioMEMs program
  • Robust Heart Failure research portfolio which includes APCs in pilot programs
  • Cohesive and supportive team
  • 2 to 3 years of post-graduate physician associate or nurse practitioner experience preferred

The Providence Heart Institute is an integrated cardiovascular service line with more than 80 specialists serving hospital and clinic locations throughout Oregon and southwest Washington. In addition, the program is a hub for vast data registries in cardiovascular care, including the Center for Cardiovascular Analytics, Research and Data Science (CARDS). This state-of-the-art institute is a leader in new therapies, and consistently receives national recognition, including the American Heart Association's "Get With The Guidelines" designation for coronary artery disease care.
