Job summary

Sutter West Bay Medical Group in San Francisco is seeking an experienced Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for full-time work in a dynamic, physician-led team.

You will evaluate and treat non-emergent acute illnesses, perform diagnostic testing (labs, EKGs, imaging), and collaborate closely with supervising physicians to ensure timely referrals and coordinated care in a modern ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program.
• National certification as NP (FNP) or PA-C.
• Active, unrestricted California license.
• Current DEA registration or eligibility.
• BLS required; ACLS and PALS as applicable.
• Urgent care, emergency medicine, or ambulatory acute care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat non-emergent acute illnesses and minor injuries.
• Perform diagnostic tests: labs, EKGs, imaging.
• In-office procedures per urgent care scope.

Sutter West Bay Medical Group is seeking an experienced full-time 1.0 FTE Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a collaborative, physician-led team in San Francisco. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a modern ambulatory urgent care setting with strong clinical leadership and operational support.

Position Highlights

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat non-emergent acute illnesses and minor injuries across the lifespan
• Perform and interpret diagnostic testing, including laboratory studies, EKGs, and imaging
• Perform in-office procedures consistent with urgent care practice and scope of licensure
• Collaborate closely with supervising physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
• Ensure timely referrals, escalation of care, and coordination when clinically indicated
• Practice within a highly respected, physician-led organization
