Job summary

Gould Medical Group is seeking a board-certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for the Trauma and Acute Care Surgery department in Modesto, California. The role offers a base salary range of $200,000 to $215,000 per year, with a 12-hour shift pattern and no on-call duties, based on experience and qualifications.

The position requires ATLS certification within six months and may prefer one year of trauma APC experience.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with trauma care interest.
• ATLS certification within 6 months required.
• One year trauma APC experience preferred.
• Shift work includes 12-hour shifts with 168 per year.
• Epic EHR experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide Trauma and Acute Care Surgery coverage in Modesto, CA.
• Collaborate with the trauma team and hospital staff.
• Maintain ATLS certification and adhere to clinical protocols.

• Starting base salary: $200,000 - $215,000 based on experience
• Hospital: Memorial Medical Center, 423-bed, Level 2 trauma
• 1 year of trauma APC experience preferred
• ATLS certification required within 6 months
• Shift requirement: 168 twelve-hour shifts per year
• For Nurse Practitioners: RNFA preferred but not required
• No call
• EHR: Epic
