Atrius Health, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its primary care team in Braintree. This role involves independently managing a patient panel while delivering preventive, acute, and chronic care in a collaborative, value-based environment focused on quality outcomes and whole-person care.

Ideal candidates will have an MSN (NP) or Master's degree (PA), MA licensure, DEA, MCSR, and BLS, with at least three years of ambulatory primary care

Qualifications

Atrius Health, part of the Optum family, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its primary care team in Braintree. This role offers the opportunity to independently manage a patient panel while working within a collaborative, value-based care model focused on quality outcomes and whole-person care.

Required Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner (NP): Master's degree (MSN) and national certification (ANCC or AANP) or Physician Assistant (PA): Master's degree and certification by NCCPA
• Active, unrestricted Massachusetts NP or PA license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Active DEA and MCSR (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Current BLS certification

Experience & Scope

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience independently managing a full primary care patient panel
• Experience includes responsibility for:
  • Preventive care
  • Longitudinal care
  • Chronic disease management
  • Care coordination and follow-up
• Experience caring for adult patients ages 65 and older
• Demonstrated experience practicing in an ambulatory primary care setting, not limited to episodic, urgent, or specialty-only care
• Prior responsibility for inbox management, test results follow-up, patient messaging, and referral coordination

The salary range for this role is $165,000 to $190,000 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
