Job summary

Indiana University Health Medical Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Orthopedic team in Bloomington, IN. The role involves performing independently in a sports medicine clinic, seeing new and established patients, and potential satellite work.

Call is not required, with possible cross-training for inpatient coverage if desired. Qualifications include ACNP, FNP, or PA credentials, orthopedic/sports medicine exposure, and 2–3 years’ experience preferred,

  • Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri
  • 40 hours/week-4-10 hours days (may not be exact schedule)
• Call is not required. However, there may be opportunity to cross train for orthopedic inpatient coverage, if desired.

Procedures:

• First Assist in surgery, Joint Injections, Joint Fracture reductions, other procedures

Job Responsibilities:

• Will occasionally help in the Orthopedic Injury clinic during regular hours

Qualifications:

• General Orthopedics knowledge for treatment of fractures/acute injuries.
• 2-3 years' experience preferred but will consider a new grad with Strong interest in Orthopedics.
