Description: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to conduct comprehensive medical evaluations for veterans seeking compensation for medical and psychological injuries sustained during their service in Middletown, NY, with travel to Poughkeepsie, NY. Responsibilities include physical assessments, reviewing medical records and ancillary testing results, and preparing reports following VA guidelines.

Salary: For full-time roles, the annual salary ranges from $105,000 to $115,000. Part-time roles are prorated based on hours worked.

Responsibilities:

• Perform in-depth medical assessments, including gathering medical histories and conducting physical examinations.
• Analyze and interpret diagnostic and ancillary testing results.
• Create comprehensive medical reports using VA criteria to determine the relation of conditions to military service.
• Use our report generation platform to submit VA-approved questionnaires efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
• Master’s degree in nursing or physician assistant studies.
• Proven experience in a relevant clinical role.
• Preferred specialties include family medicine, emergency medicine, internal medicine, occupational medicine, PM&R, or orthopedics.
