Job summary

Mayo Clinic Arizona in Phoenix is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide direct patient care within the Hepatology/Gastroenterology team. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary group to deliver evidenced-based care in an outpatient setting, educate patients, and contribute to program improvements.

The role requires AZ RN/APRN licensure, NP or PA certification, and strong communication skills to support diverse patient populations across liver diseases.

Qualifications

• Masters-educated nurse practitioner with AZ RN and APRN licensure.
• ACNP or FNP certification required.
• Physician Assistant with PA-C and AZ Board registration acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in outpatient hepatology and gastroenterology.

Qualifications

Acute Care or Family Nurse Practitioner: Masters-prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current AZ RN and APRN license and certification as a ACNP or FNP.

Physician Assistant: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the AZ State Board of Medical Practice.

Additional Qualifications

Active BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross at start date and DEA registration required
