Job description

The Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is seeking a certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Hematology/Oncology department at the Smilow Cancer Hospital - Yale New Haven, located within Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT.

Position Details

• Full-time clinical position: 40 hrs/week, with 36 clinical hours and 4 administrative hours. Option for a 4 or 5-day work week.
• Collaborate closely with over 10 physicians and over 10 advanced practitioners within the oncology service line.
• Provide comprehensive outpatient oncological care, with occasional weekend inpatient consult coverage.
• Practice across three sites: Hartford (hub), Glastonbury, and Enfield.
• Procedures include Bone Marrow Biopsies and Intrathecal Chemotherapy. Experience is preferred but training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Clinical trials are available in this integrative care department.
• Utilize cutting-edge surgical techniques, including robotic and minimally invasive procedures.
• Work with a radiation oncology center equipped with advanced technology such as linear accelerators, CyberKnife radiosurgery, high-dose brachytherapy, and radio nucleotide therapies.
