Job description

The Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is seeking a certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Hematology/Oncology department at the Smilow Cancer Hospital - Yale New Haven, located within Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT.

Position Details

• Full-time clinical position: 40 hrs/wk, with 36 clinical hours and 4 administrative hours. Options for a 4 or 5-day workweek.
• Collaborate closely with over 10 physicians and over 10 advanced practitioners within the oncology service line.
• Provide comprehensive oncological care in an outpatient setting, with infrequent weekend inpatient consult coverage.
• Practice across three sites: Hartford, Glastonbury, and Enfield, with Hartford serving as the provider hub.
• Procedures include Bone Marrow Biopsies and Intrathecal Chemotherapy.
• Experience is preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
• Participate in clinical trials within this integrative care department.
• Engage in cutting-edge surgical care, including robotic and minimally invasive procedures.
• Work in a radiation oncology center equipped with state-of-the-art technology, such as linear accelerators, CyberKnife radiosurgery, high-dose brachytherapy, and radio nucleotide therapies.
