Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team. You will diagnose and treat common illnesses and perform routine exams in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

The role offers autonomy with limited admin burden, a predictable schedule with no overnights, and no mandatory extra shifts, plus on-site coverage every other weekend and occasional on-call duties about six nights per year.

Qualifications

• Must hold NP or PA licensure and appropriate certs.
• Experience in primary/urgent care; able to treat ages 1+.
• Masters for NP; NCCPA for PA.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat common illnesses including sore throats, earaches, sinus infections, flu, and UTIs.
• Perform routine health exams, immunizations, screenings and wellness services.

Job description

Role Overview: An experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is sought to join an urgent care team, diagnosing and treating common illnesses such as sore throats, earaches, sinus infections, flu, and urinary tract infections. Responsibilities include routine health exams, immunizations, screenings, and wellness services.

• Work autonomously with limited administrative burden and access to a broad network of resources and specialists.
• Enjoy an attractive schedule with no overnight shifts, no mandated extra shifts, and work every other weekend.
• Participate in call duties approximately six nights annually with no direct patient call for critical labs or imaging.
• Work in a comfortable environment, dressed in business attire, and observe six holidays annually.

Qualifications: Requires prior experience in primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care, or critical care, with the ability to treat patients aged one and older.
