Express Care - Per Diem
MaineGeneral Medical Center, central Maine's premier integrated health delivery system has express care clinics located in Augusta, Waterville and Gardiner offering extended weekday and weekend hours. We are currently seeking a per diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant passionate about providing quality, compassionate health care to join them. Flexibility for travel to any of the three locations is required.
This person will report to the Medical Director of Express Care and be supported by primary care physicians, medical assistants, and nursing staff.
Two years' experience as a NP or PA in an emergency department, urgent care or primary care setting is preferred, but not required.
Maine NP or PA License
Maine DEA
ACLS and PALS, preferred
Willingness to travel to other clinic locations, if coverage is needed
Experience in telehealth is helpful, but not required. Training is provided.
Strong communication and customer service skills required
Word processing, EMR and email use required
Must be a strong collaborator with clinical and case management skills
Express Care clinic hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 7:30 pm, weekends 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, all holidays with the exception of Christmas and Thanksgiving.
