Job summary

Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton, SD, part of Avera Health, seeks a Certified Nurse Practitioner to join a multidisciplinary team. You will assess, diagnose, and treat patients according to approved protocols, provide health education, and collaborate with physicians to develop care plans.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid CNP license and be licensed to practice in the state.
  • Active RN license required and DEA registration.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and follow approved protocols.

Recognizes and reacts appropriately to environmental safety factors related to patient care. Effectively provides patient instruction related to environment of care and safety standards.Effectively contributes to the development and attainment of physician practice goals.Practices according to written, approved protocols and appropriate licensing and administrative authorities.
