Job summary

New Day Recovery (NDR) in Niles, Ohio is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our behavioral health team.

You will conduct patient assessments, oversee MAT, coordinate with counselors and medical staff, and maintain compliant documentation while supporting long-term recovery.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio NP or PA license (Family/Adult) required.
• CPR certification required.
• Completion of CME credits required.
• Experience in behavioral health, addiction medicine, or MAT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments, evaluations, and ongoing treatment planning.
• Provide care for individuals with mental health and substance use disorders, including MAT.
• Collaborate with counselors, medical staff, and leadership to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Build meaningful connections with patients while supporting long-term recovery.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
