We are seeking a patient-focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic Breast Oncology team at IU Health University Hospital!
Position Details
- Full-time, Days
- Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
- No weekends, no call
- Opportunity to pick up weekend Inpatient rounding shifts for additional training and compensation
- 4 hours of admin time per week
- 100% Outpatient
- Practice with 6 physicians and 1 other APP
- No procedural requirements
- Provider will collaborate with our breast oncology physicians and APPs to provide further support treating breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy or other treatments.
- Provider will also be seeing patients in the "High Risk Breast Cancer" program providing education, guidance and appropriate testing.
Qualifications- Master's Degree required
- ACNP, AGNP, FNP, WHNP or PA certification required
- If new graduate, RN experience or clinical rotation in oncology and/or women's health required
- Breast Oncology experience preferred
- The ideal candidate must have experience in women's health or oncology, strong desire to learn. Needs to have knowledge and training of physical examination, history taking and evaluation of medical problems.
