Urgent Care for Kids is seeking dynamic Nurse Practitioners (PNP-FNP) or Physician Assistants for their Pediatric Urgent Care clinics in the DFW area. Candidates will join a dedicated team focused on delivering exceptional care and are expected to be adaptable and passionate about children's healthcare. Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner (PNP or FNP) or Physician Assistant with a focus on pediatric care.
  • Experience in fast-paced clinical settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assessing, diagnosing, and initiating treatment and procedures for pediatric patients.
  • Collaborating with site physicians and clinic teams to provide comprehensive patient care.

With 13 clinic locations across Texas and plans for continued expansion, Urgent Care for Kids by Goodside Health is dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care and exceptional customer service. Our mission is to bridge gaps in children's healthcare through innovation and excellence.

We are seeking dynamic and forward-thinking Nurse Practitioners (PNP-FNP) or Physician Assistants with Urgent Care certification for our Pediatric Urgent Care clinics in the Dallas / Fort Worth area. In this role, you'll work closely with site physicians and collaborate with our dedicated clinic team to provide age-appropriate care. You'll follow established protocols and take on independent responsibilities for assessing, diagnosing, and initiating treatment and procedures.

DFW West Region Openings :

Full Time, Part Time and PRN

Requires floating to regional clinics : Plano, Frisco, Dallas, Mckinney

Clinic Hours of Operation :

Monday-Friday : 12pm - 9pm

Saturday-Sunday : 9pm - 5pm

Requirements

  • Urgent Care Experience : Preferred, with a strong background in fast-paced clinical settings.
  • Pediatric Assessment & Treatment : At least 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner (PNP or FNP) or Physician Assistant, with a focus on pediatric care.
  • Urgent Care Procedures : Proficiency in laceration repair, initial fracture management, and reduction of nursemaid's elbow.
  • Regulatory Knowledge : Familiarity with OSHA and CLIA guidelines, office tasks, confidentiality, and filing systems.
  • Licensing : Current, valid, unencumbered RN license from the Texas Board of Nursing.
  • Certification : Active certification by national certifying bodies recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing (PNP-BC, FNP-BC) or NCCPA.
  • PALS Certification : Current certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
