Position Summary The Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant working under the supervision of a collaborating physician or ( supervision of a physician pursuant to a written agreement, in the case of the PA) provides primary care to Temple University students by assessing and managing routine acute/chronic problems and performs routine health prevention care, while consulting with the appropriate medical staff when further consultation is warranted.
B.S.N. with a master's degree in nursing, or graduate from an accredited PA program. Must be licensed and certified as a nurse practitioner or Physician's Assistant in the state of Pennsylvania. Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a nurse practitioner or PA with experience in college health, woman's health care, family practice, urgent care, or emergency medicine. This position will be on-site. This position has the potential to be 10 months per year, with summers off.
