Job summary

Temple Health in Philadelphia at 3401 North Broad Street seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Advanced Practice Provider team. The role involves treating and evaluating patients, delivering advanced nursing care in a specialized area, and collaborating with licensed physicians to diagnose and prescribe therapies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Master's Degree in Nursing required.
• PA Certification as Nurse Practitioner required.
• PA RN License required.
• Prescriptive authority preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• 2 years NP experience preferred.
• 1 year outpatient/ambulatory experience preferred.

Performs a wide variety of patient care activities including diagnosis, the prescription of medical therapeutics in collaboration with and under the direction of the licensed physician. Contributes to a safe and therapeutic environment that is centered on the needs of the patients, caregivers and others demonstrating concern for the patient's privacy, comfort, and emotional state. Treats patient with consideration to age, race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic background, and culture in a caring, ethical, and professional manner.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing Required
• Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing program Required

Experience

• 2 years experience as a nurse practitioner Preferred

1 Year Experience In a Clinical Specialty Practice

• 1 year outpatient/ambulatory experience Preferred

General Experience In An EPIC Environment Preferred

Licenses

• PA Cert Reg Nurse Practitioner Required
• PA Registered Nurse License Required

Prescriptive Authority Preferred

• Basic Life Support Required
