We are seeking new graduate or early-career Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) to join our APP Clinical Immersion Program in Hematology/Oncology and Stem Cell Transplant (SCT). This 12-month structured program begins with a 4-month "Boot Camp" focused on building foundational clinical knowledge and skills across Hem/Onc and SCT services in an inpatient front-line APP provider role. Following Boot Camp, participants will be immersed in a supported staffing model for 8 months, working rotating day/night shifts with every 3rd weekend rotation. APPs will function as active members of the clinical team while continuing didactic education and skill-building in a supportive, collaborative environment. At the conclusion of the program, participants will transition into permanent APP roles within the department, based on availability. Options will include: a rotator role in either Oncology and/or SCT with 50/50 rotation and every 4th weekend, or a permanent night shift position in either SCT or Oncology. This program is ideal for motivated APPs seeking a career in inpatient pediatric oncology, stem cell transplant, and complex medical care in a world-renowned academic children's hospital. Anticipated start dates of September 2025 and January 2026.
Please note: During a public health emergency, individuals in this role may be expected to take on additional duties to respond to organizational needs.
