Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Full-Time and Part-Time Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Schaumburg Immediate Care. The Nurse Practitioner will work at our Immediate Care facility and provide high-quality healthcare services to patients of all ages. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, compassion for patients, and a desire to make a positive impact in the community.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive physical assessments of patients and order appropriate diagnostic tests
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses and injuries
  • Prescribe medications and other treatments as needed
  • Educate patients and their families on wellness, disease prevention, and medication management
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care for patients
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
  • Adhere to all state and federal regulations and maintain proper licensure
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Illinois
  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records systems
  • Familiarity with urgent care or primary care settings is a plus
