As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be a key member of the inpatient care team, providing thoughtful assessment, clinical management, and ongoing support for medical and surgical oncology patients. In this role, you will contribute to diagnostic and therapeutic decision-making, develop individualized plans of care, and partner closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary colleagues to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care, counseling, and education to a designated inpatient oncology population. Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations to support timely clinical assessment and care planning. Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic studies to guide clinical decision-making. Develop and implement individualized plans of care and follow-up based on diagnostic results, physical examination findings, and patient needs. Prescribe medications and manage treatments in accordance with organizational policies, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements. Complete accurate, timely, and high-quality documentation, including admission notes, progress notes, procedure notes, and discharge summaries. Perform bedside procedures appropriate to the patient population, scope of practice, and clinical setting. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary colleagues to coordinate care and support safe transitions throughout the inpatient stay.**Qualifications**Education Master's Degree Nursing required.
