Job summary
Bergen New Bridge Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for Off Site Services to provide comprehensive primary care in ambulatory and off-site settings within County facilities. You will perform assessments, develop care plans, order labs, and prescribe medications as needed while coordinating with the care team.
The ideal candidate holds an NJ NP license, MSN or higher, and has strong communication skills to support diverse patient populations.
Qualifications
- 2 years of related clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Professional nursing theory and practice knowledge.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal communication skills.
- English proficiency as required by the position.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services in ambulatory and off-site settings.
- Perform history, physicals, and develop care plans.
- Order labs and diagnostics as appropriate and adjust treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and provide wound care and basic emergency care.
- Promote patient education and wellness and document care in medical records.
