St. Joseph's is the first Providence hospital to obtain the Advanced Certification in Perinatal Care through The Joint Commission, recognizing the team for its high-quality standards and the exceptional care they provide every day. The fast-paced OB Triage/Labor and Delivery team has the privilege of welcoming more than 4,700 babies into the world each year. It is a Magnet with Distinction Designated hospital and are known throughout Orange County as a high-risk obstetric service, attracting moms and babies with complicated medical conditions.
