Job summary

MedStaff Group in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to provide primary care services to nursing-home residents. The role emphasizes independent practice within an interdisciplinary team, with RVU-based incentives and a competitive base salary.

Qualifications

• Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license.
• Active New York State Registered Nurse license.
• Active Medicare and Medicaid provider ID numbers required.
• Nursing-home, skilled nursing, long-term care, or geriatric experience preferred.
• Previous nursing-home experience as an RN will be considered.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care to nursing-home residents.
• Conduct routine, follow-up, and urgent patient visits.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Review medications, laboratory results, and treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, specialists, and facility leadership.

Schedule: Full-Time
Salary: $130,000–$150,000 annually, plus RVU incentives

MedStaff Group is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to provide primary care services to residents of a nursing home in Brooklyn.

This opportunity is ideal for an NP with nursing-home or geriatric experience. Candidates who are newer Nurse Practitioners but have previous nursing-home experience as a Registered Nurse are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Provide primary care to nursing-home residents
